Attack Of The Tumbleweeds In El Paso County

FOUNTAIN, Colo. (CBS4) - Pictures sent in to CBS4 show what one homeowner is calling the attack of the tumbleweeds.

The photos show the scene at a home near Fountain in southwest El Paso County where the weeds completely covered the road and buried vehicles.

"Our John Deere tractor, you can't see it, it's in the front of the garage, you can't see it," homeowner Dee Ripple said. "So it's kind of amazing to look out there and not see anything that's supposed to be there."

While it's amazing to see all the tumbleweeds, they can get caught under cars and catch fire.
