Sefo Liufau Shows Promise As Buffs Quarterback
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Nobody's going to congratulate the University of Colorado football team for moral victories, but they showed some spunk Saturday night against UCLA.
They made a game of it against the Bruins and they really like what they see out of freshman quarterback Sefo Liufau. He's getting better every week.
Liufau even got into it with UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr. Liufau's offensive line had his back.
"I think that the team, after that point, had a lot of fire and a lot of fight, and teams aren't going to be able to just roll over us. It won't happen this year, it's not going to happen anymore," Liufau said. "We're a team that's going to fight and you're going to fight all 60 minutes against us."
The Buffs visit the Washington Huskies this Saturday. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
