DENVER (CBS4) – The Brown Palace kicked off the holiday season with a champagne cascade.

The two-story pyramid was made up of 6,000 glasses. A master swordsman severed the necks of champagne bottles that were poured into the glasses.

The champagne cascade also honored the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.
