BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Broomfield are investigating how an SUV struck and killed a 20-year-old man who was on foot Tuesday morning.
The incident happened just before 2 a.m. on Highway 7 between Huron Street and Sheridan Boulevard, west of Interstate 25.
The driver, a 44-year-old male, stayed on scene and called police immediately.
Authorities ruled out drugs and alcohol as a factor.
A skateboard was found near the crash scene, but it’s not clear if the skateboard played a role in the crash.
