ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – An accident involving 12 vehicles that injured four people took place on Monday afternoon in Englewood and caused big problems during the evening rush hour.
The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 285 and Clarkson.
The view from Copter4 showed five vehicles crumpled together in the intersection, with other damaged vehicles around that mess.
A semi that crashed nearby is believed to have been involved in the the accident somehow, but so far investigators are still trying to determine exactly what happened.
Traffic on westbound Highway 285 was backed up for two miles at 5 p.m. as emergency crews worked to clean up the intersection.
