Water In Loveland Stinks, But Still Safe To Drink
LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - It may taste and smell strange but the water in Loveland is safe to drink.
Loveland's water usually comes from the Big Thompson River, but since the floods the water is now coming from the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir .
Loveland Water officials say the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir has an outbreak of algae that makes the water smell.
The agency says the water meets all state and federal water standards.
