Larimer County Confirmed West Nile Cases Hits The 100 Mark
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - The West Nile virus has hit one county in Colorado the hardest with more than 100 confirmed cases.
Larimer County says that's double the number since late August. Sixteen cases are the most severe form of the virus that could lead to long term complications, even death.
The Larimer County Health Department says the risk is much lower than it was earlier this summer, but until the cold weather sets in people are still at risk of being infected.
