Broncos' Julius Thomas Ends Traffic Case
CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) - Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas has entered a guilty plea to end a traffic court case.
Thomas pleaded guilty Tuesday to having a defective vehicle. The Denver Post reports that Thomas declined comment after the hearing in Centennial.
The 25-year-old Thomas was stopped for speeding on Aug. 28 and was then arrested for failing to appear in court in March for a traffic citation. Thomas had been charged with failing to yield to an emergency vehicle on Jan. 25.
An Arapahoe County sheriff's deputy issued a citation to Thomas during the April stop for going 57 mph in a 40 mph zone.
