Police Issue Warning To Highlands Ranch Neighbors After Kidnap Attempt
HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) - Parents in a Highlands Ranch neighborhood are on alert after a man tried to kidnap a child.
The incident happened Tuesday at approximately 6 p.m. in the area of Griggs and Poston Parkway.
Police say the driver of a black sedan tried to lure a child on a scooter into his car and then made a threat.
The sedan had a scratch on the hood, tinted windows and a black antenna ball.
Officials with the Douglas County Sheriff's office are asking residents in the area to be on the lookout.
