Broncos Practice Outside Despite Cold Temps
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Broncos didn't let a little snow keep them under the dome on Friday.
They headed to their outdoor turf field for practice at their Dove Valley headquarters as they work to keep up their winning streak. Snow was still visible on the grassy hills next to the field in the morning, and some players had extra layers on in the chilly temps.
The cold didn't seem to bother wide receiver Demaryius Thomas. He had his sleeves pulled up so nothing was covering his arms. That was a big contrast to kickers Matt Prater and Britton Colquitt who had face warmers covering everything but their eyes and foreheads.
Peyton Manning and his teammates will be heading to warmer temps this weekend. They play the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday. Watch the game on CBS4 at 2:25 p.m.
