Rangers Passing Out Tickets For Smoking Pot In National Forests

ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4) – Marijuana may be legal in Colorado but campers who smoke up on federal lands are getting hit with tickets.

Rangers in the White River National Forest have been giving citations to campers caught smoking pot.

The Aspen Daily News reports rangers are not actively searching for smokers but will enforce federal law if the violations are flagrant.
