Thousands Of IREA Customer To Lose Power For Switch Repair

CONIFER, Colo. (CBS4) – Thousands of people in Jefferson County will have their power turned off as crews repair the electric system.

The move affects about 4,500 Intermountain Rural Electric Association customers in Tiny Town, Conifer and Aspen Park.

The outage is set for Tuesday at 10 p.m. and expected to last about 5 hours. Crews will be repairing a high voltage switch.
