Red Cross Opens New Shelter For Aurora Flood Victims

DENVER (CBS4) – Some of the financial relief is already running out for many flood victims, so the American Red Cross has opened a new shelter in Denver for dozens flooded out of their homes in Aurora.

The new shelter is located at the Mormon Church near 8th and Holly.

Between 60 and 75 people in Aurora were using vouchers from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for hotels or temporary housing, but those vouchers are running out.
