Man Accused Of Fatal Injuries To Baby Daughter Guilty Of Murder
DENVER (CBS4) - A man accused of causing injuries that caused the death of his infant daughter has been found guilty of murder.
Lynn Kimbrough with the Denver District Attorney's Office said Marquis Garrison, 31, was convicted last Friday of first-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death.
"On June 25, 2012, Garrison grew frustrated with the fussing and crying of his 2-month-old daughter and shook her and threw her on the ground, causing fatal injuries," Kimbrough said in a statement.
Garrison faces life in prison without parole when he is sentenced on Nov. 18.
