Oklahoma Based Feed The Children Offers Colorado Relief

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Feed The Children is sending disaster relief supplies to help families following deadly floods that have left thousands of Colorado residents homeless and others still missing.

Disaster kits including hygiene products, cleaning supplies, blankets, Meal Ready-to-Eat packages, water coolers, work gloves, water and nonperishable food will be distributed to families with the assistance of Feed The Children partner Goodness Outreach Ministries.

Two truckloads of supplies will be picked up Tuesday and Wednesday at Feed The Children's warehouse in Oklahoma City. Goodness Outreach Ministries will transport and distribute the disaster supplies in the Boulder area over the next six weeks. Children's Hope Chest and Grisham Ministries will also be helping with the relief effort.

A spokesman, Erin Engelke, says the charity will send relief to victims as long as needed.
