'Prepare Colorado' Program Launched To Deal With A Disaster
DENVER (CBS4) - Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia, the American Red Cross and the state Emergency Management Office are teaming up for the "Prepare Colorado" program.
The goal is to make sure all people, businesses and government agencies are ready for a disaster.
"We know that our communities need to be better prepared -- better prepared for the emergencies that are coming and then better equipped to respond to them and to recover from them," Garcia said.
The Red Cross has created an emergency game plan checklist to help Coloradans get ready. Download it at the link below.
