Hickenlooper Out Of Office For Hip Surgery

A spokesman says Hickenlooper is undergoing hip arthroscopy Tuesday. It’s usually a short, minimally-invasive procedure in which a small camera and instruments are used to see and repair the hip joint.

Hickenlooper will still be acting as governor while he’s out.

His staff came up with a top ten list of things to know about the surgery. Number 1 is — “Even though it’s easy to put one’s foot in one’s mouth, repeated attempts eventually take a toll on the hips.”
