Greeley Veterinarian Gets Citation For Treating People

GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - A veterinarian in Greeley accused of practicing medicine on people has received a second citation for practicing without a license.

A total of five people have come forward so far after David Dixon lost two toes while receiving treatment from Fran Freemeyer. Dixon says it happened after Freemyer gave him an experimental cancer treatment intended for use on animals.

Dixon said he went to Freemeyer because he was desperate for help with a foot infection.
