Denver Police Team Up With FBI To Track Down Bank Robbery Suspect

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver have teamed up with the FBI to track down a bank robbery suspect.

Police and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are searching for the man who robbed the Colorado State Bank and Trust at 3610 East 1st Avenue in Denver.

The man walked into the bank at 9:43 a.m. on Aug. 5, presented a demand note and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, 6-foot to 6-foot-1, about 200 pounds with a medium build.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
