Judge Rules Brain Specialist Can Testify At Sigg Trial

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – A judge has ruled an adolescent brain specialist can testify at Austin Sigg’s trial.

Sigg is charged with kidnapping and killing Jessica Ridgeway, 10, last fall.

That could suggest the defense will introduce evidence that Sigg suffered brain trauma.

On Thursday afternoon the judge may rule on a request for a change of venue in the case, and the defense has also requested a delay.

Currently, jury selection is set to begin next month.
