As Colorado Recalls Loom, Legal Wrangling Continues

DENVER (AP) — Colorado's first-ever recall elections for state lawmakers are going to be like a mixed-breed dog.

That's the ruling Thursday from a Denver judge who joked that elections coming up next month in El Paso and Pueblo counties are sort of like a Labradoodle.

Most will vote in person, some will vote by mail, and a few will vote electronically. The judge said all those forms of voting are OK in certain circumstances.

Sens. Angela Giron of Pueblo and John Morse of Colorado Springs face Sept. 10 recall elections. The Democrats are being recalled because they supported gun control measures some consider too extreme.
