Fort Collins Is Safest U.S. City To Drive In
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - According to Allstate, Fort Collins is home to the best drivers in the country.
The insurance company put together the rankings based on claims from its customers. While the typical driver will get in an accident every 10 years, Fort Collins drivers are in a crash every 14 years on average.
It's the third time Fort Collins has gotten the top spot in nine years.
Other Colorado cities made the Top 100. Colorado Springs came in at 15th, Denver-Lakewood was 64th and in 70th place was Aurora.
The least-safest city in America according to the report is Washington, D.C. for the sixth year in a row.
