Police Search For 2 Suspects After Assault At Boulder Underpass

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police are looking for two suspects after an assault on the west side of the University of Colorado campus.

The crime happened just after 1 a.m. Friday morning at the pedestrian underpass at Broadway and Euclid Avenue. Police say two people started arguing with a group of students and using derogatory statements.

According to witnesses, a CU student who overheard the argument threw a punch and then a full-on fight broke out.

That CU student was taken to the hospital with serious injuries to his face.

Police are looking for two white males who are college age. Both are between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10. One has long brown hair and the other is blonde with buzz cut.
