Police Search For Assault Suspect, Pickup Truck

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are searching for a man who beat another man so badly he remains in critical condition in the hospital weeks after the attack.

Police said on July 28 about 4 a.m. the victim and an unknown Hispanic man were involved in a physical fight in the area of the 12900 block of East Olmsted Place.

The Hispanic man struck the victim, knocking him to the concrete roadway which caused severe head trauma to the victim.

The victim remains in critical condition.

The suspect Hispanic male is about 21-24 years old, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11, medium building with short hair. The possible name of the suspect is Ernesto.

He is known to drive a white-colored, lifted Ford or Dodge "Dually" like pictured with an aftermarket exhaust, dark-tinted windows and Texas license plates.

Police believe he frequents Mexican Clubs in the Denver metro area.
