USA Pro Challenge Shuts Down Colorado 82
ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - The USA Pro Challenge is underway.
The bicycling race featuring Tour de France champion Chris Froome began Monday afternoon in Aspen with two parade laps through downtown.
The race will keep Colorado Highway 82 closed between Aspen and Snowmass Village until around 4 p.m. Alternate routes are Highway 82 over Independence Pass, U.S. Highway 24 and Interstate 70.
On Tuesday, the racers will head over Independence Pass to Twin Lakes, Buena Vista, Fairplay and Breckenridge.
The race ends Sunday in Denver.
