Police Impersonator Steals Money From Teen In Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Colo. (CBS4) – A man impersonating a police officer stole money from a 13-year-old boy in Carbondale.

Authorities say the man told the boy he shouldn’t be riding his bike on the street while playing music and demanded $20. The boy gave him the cash.

Police don’t think the case in Carbondale is related to two other reports of police impersonations in Aspen this week.
