Skin Cancer Screenings Roll Into Town With Tour Bus

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in America with more than 3.5 million cases diagnosed every year. It's that statistic that has dermatologists hitting the road with the Skin Cancer Foundation tour bus.

The bus made a stop in Boulder on Thursday where local doctors conduct quick and easy skin examinations.

They also offered tips and products to help prevent skin cancer.

Doctors said that cancers found and removed early are almost always curable.

The Skin Cancer Foundation's Road to Healthy Skin Tour's next and final stop in Colorado is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Rite Aid located at 4800 Baseline Road in Boulder.
