Grand Jury Indicts 4 In Auto Theft & Drug Ring
DENVER (CBS4) - Charges were filed Tuesday against four people accused of stealing cars to pay for drugs.
A Denver grand jury indicted Eric Uriah Holmes with forgery, vehicle theft, check fraud and drug charges. Police say he opened bank accounts with little money, then used checks to buy cars, pay rent and buy drugs. He's also accused of stealing at least 30 cars totaling $1 million.
Three accomplices, identified as James Andrew Deichsel, Nathaniel Everett Gene Menning and Cathrina Ann Woodvine were also charged in the theft ring. Police say they helped Holmes in his schemes to get money.
