Water Main Break Makes Mess Of Sheridan Boulevard
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Water crews were working to fix a 12 inch water main break at 5th and Sheridan Boulevard on Monday.
The break happened at approximately 4:30 a.m. It created a hole about 27 feet long, 15 feet wide and 10 feet deep.
One apartment complex and 20 houses lost water service. Officials were supplying those who lost water service with bottles water.
The road closure that's in place -- Sheridan between 4th and 5th -- was expected to last until at least midnight. If they problem isn't fixed by the morning it cause a headache for morning commuters.
