Cellphone Thief Caught On Camera At Folsom Field

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - New video from the University of Colorado Boulder Police shows a man accused of stealing cell phones and lunches from offices at Folsom Field.

Someone first stole cellphones from the metal shop offices in the stadium on campus on June 4. Then a man resembling the first suspect stole more cell phones, some money and food on the afternoon of July 21.

The man is believed to have stolen approximately $2,000 worth of items.

The suspect was described as being a white male in his 20s who was 5-foot-4 and 160 pounds. He has several tattoos on his right arm.

Police released the following information for anyone who might know who the suspect is:

"Anyone who recognizes him to call Detective Paul Davis at 303-492-3459. ... Those who have information on these crimes but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-444-3776. Tips can also be submitted via the Crime Stoppers website at http://www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers."
