Royal Gorge Burn Area Declared A Major Disaster Area

CANON CITY, Colo. (CBS4) – The White House has declared the Royal Gorge Bridge and park a major disaster area due to a wildfire.

President Barack Obama made the declaration on Friday. It makes federal money available to repair the damage and creates disaster unemployment assistance for those out of work because of it.
