DENVER (AP) - A woman who was paralyzed in the Colorado theater shooting that also killed her daughter and unborn child is suing the theater operator.

Lawyers for Ashley Moser filed the wrongful-death lawsuit Friday in U.S. District Court in Denver against Cinemark Holdings Inc., Cinemark USA Inc. and Century Theatres Inc., of Plano, Texas.

The lawsuit lists crimes at theaters around the country and says Cinemark should have known violence could happen at its theater in Aurora on July 20, 2012, when a gunman killed 12 people and injured 70 others. It says Cinemark failed to hire armed security officers.

Cinemark has said it couldn't have foreseen the attack.

Moser's 6-year-old daughter, Veronica Moser-Sullivan, died in the attack. Veronica's father filed his own lawsuit against Cinemark last year.
