Minor Injuries Reported After Small Plane Goes Off Runway
BROOMFIELD, Colo. (AP) — Two people are safe after a small plane ran off the runway at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport near Broomfield.
The plane was landing Wednesday evening when the accident occurred. The pilot and passenger suffered minor injuries. They were not identified.
The North Metro Fire Rescue District says the plane had moderate damage to the propeller, engine and wings.
The National Transportation Safety Board and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport officials are investigating.
