Texas Deputies Cleared In Shooting Of Evan Ebel
DECATUR, Texas (CBS4) - No charges will be filed against the Texas deputies who shot and killed murder suspect Evan Ebel.
Ebel died after a shootout in Decatur, Texas back in March. He's accused of shooting a deputy and leading police on a chase that ended in a crash. Deputies then opened fire and killed him.
A grand jury looked at the case and decided the deputies acted appropriately.
Ebel is accused of killing Colorado corrections chief Tom Clements and Denver father Nate Leon.
