Police Recover Possible Stolen Items From Black Forest Evacuees
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Colorado Springs believe they have recovered stolen items belonging to people who evacuated during the Black Forest Fire.
Police found stolen property in a storage facility in Colorado Springs. The manager called them after noticing a cut lock. After getting a search warrant they found a suitcase with an evacuee's name on it.
Police are still investigating and won't say if they have any suspects.
