Backpack With Explosives Found At Grand Junction Apartment Complex
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4) - A backpack loaded with explosives was found near an apartment complex in Grand Junction on Sunday.
Police said bottles and canisters were filled with gunpowder. They were sealed with duct tape and had fuses attached.
The building was evacuated for more than two hours. Police don't believe the apartment residents were targeted.
Police won't say whether the devices were actually capable of exploding.
Police haven't released any other information.
