Cascio's Late Goal Lifts Rapids Past Impact, 4-3

MONTREAL (AP) - Tony Cascio scored in stoppage time and the Colorado Rapids rallied for a 4-3 victory over Montreal on Saturday night, handing the Impact their first home loss of the season.

Deshorn Brown had tied the score in the 77th minute, and Atiba Harris and Dillon Powers also scored for the Rapids (6-7-5). Colorado ended a three-game losing streak and had their its highest scoring output of the season.

Daniele Paponi had his first two MLS goals, and Hassoun Camara also scored for Eastern Conference-leading Montreal (9-4-2), which dropped to 6-1-1 at home.

On the winning goal, the Rapids were on a counterattack when Cascio picked up a loose ball and saw his shot go off midfielder Patrice Bernier and past goalie Troy Perkins into the net.
