New Elephant Arrives At Denver Zoo

DENVER (CBS4)  - A new elephant arrived at the Denver Zoo last Sunday.

According Sean Andersen-Vie with the Denver Zoo, "Billy," a 5-year-old Asian elephant landed at Denver International Airport from Amsterdam and now has safely arrived at Denver Zoo.

"The young bull, the third male elephant in the zoo's Toyota Elephant Passage exhibit, will support the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Species Survival Plan with valuable genetics as he is unrelated to any elephants in the United States," Andersen-Vie said in a statement.
