Teen Killed After Collision On Highway 128 In Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A section of Highway 128 in Jefferson County had to be closed Tuesday afternoon after a deadly accident.

Investigators say distracted driving may be to blame. They said a 19-year-old crossed into the northbound lanes, hit a pickup and died.

The driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

There was no word on when the road will reopen.

The names of those involved haven't been released.
