Colorado Springs Police Arrest 2 Bank Robbery Suspects
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado Springs police have a pair of suspected bank robbers behind bars.
Police said Casey Fernau, 28, and Emma Lasek, 22, robbed two banks and tried to rob a third. They said they were also involved in a carjacking in the past month.
Police say Fernau was armed during each robbery and Lasek drove the getaway car.
They also say Lasek set off a military grade smoke grenade before one robbery as a diversion.
