Actor From Lakewood Wins Tony Award For Role In ‘Matilda’

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – It was a big night at the Tony Awards for a Colorado man.

Gabriel Ebert won the Tony for best featured actor in a musical for his role in “Matilda.”

Ebert hails from Lakewood. It was his first Tony award.

Ebert was once in the Colorado Children’s Chorale and went to the Denver School of the Arts.
