Rep. Fields Asks For Restraining Order From Man Accused Of Threats
DENVER (CBS4) - A man accused of threatening a Colorado lawmaker is fighting a request to keep him out of the state Capitol.
Rep. Rhonda Fields is asking for a permanent restraining order against Franklin Sain. Fields says she fears for her life.
Sain is charged with harassment and trying to influence a public official. Sain's attorney says he's shown no evidence of being a continued threat to fields.
Fields believes she was targeted because of her position on gun control.
