DENVER (CBS4) – Denver Mayor Michael Hancock is urging residents to get to know their neighbors this summer.
Hancock says communicating with neighbors and working with them will create happier and healthier neighborhoods that everyone can enjoy.
He calls the program “Denver Days.”
“By connecting our neighbors and neighborhoods we will build upon our city’s civic infrastructure and make Denver an even more vibrant, safe and healthy place to live,” Hancock said.
The first annual Denver Days will run the first week in August, but Hancock says there is no reason to wait and residents should start organizing communities now.
