Colorado State Fair Going Cashless With Smartcards

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) – Those heading to the Colorado State Fair later this summer won’t have to worry about bringing cash, because this year the entire fair will be cashless.

All customers will use smartcard for food, beer and carnival rides. They can charge the smart card with any amount.

The smartcards are good for five years.

The fair runs for 10 days starting Aug. 23 in Pueblo.
