Missy Franklin Graduating From High School

AURORA, Colo. (AP) — Olympic star Missy Franklin is graduating from high school.

The four-time gold medalist will get her diploma from Regis Jesuit High School in a ceremony in Denver on Monday evening.

Franklin isn't ready to become a professional athlete yet. She'll swim in the world championships in Barcelona this summer before heading to the University of California at Berkeley in the fall.

Franklin plans to swim for her college team the next two years, finally turning pro after the 2015 NCAA championships. That will give her a chance to earn some of the big endorsement dollars leading into the Rio Olympics.
