787 Dreamliner Cleared To Fly From Denver To Tokyo
DENVER (CBS4) - A 787 Dreamliner landed in Chicago after the United Airlines flight took off from Houston Monday morning. The Boeing 787s were grounded earlier this year over concerns of smoldering batteries.
The ground order was lifted last month but it took a few weeks to get all the planes fixed.
Right now the jets are only being used domestically, but next month United will use the 787 for its new flight from Denver to Tokyo.
