Fort Collins Police Want Pics, Video Of Block Party

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)– Police in Fort Collins are asking for more pictures and video of the block party that devolved into a riot last weekend.

Detectives have been reviewing more than two dozen videos posted online.

They are hoping more people will submit their video and images as they try to identify those who started the trouble.

Police used tear gas and pepper spray to break up the unruly mob in the Summerhill neighborhood on Saturday night.

Officials with Colorado State University are cooperating with local police while conducting their own investigation on Saturday night’s block party.

Three people were hurt in the melee.
