Couple Loses Home In Waldo Canyon Fire, Welcomes Newborn
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A couple who lost their home in the Waldo Canyon Fire has a lot to celebrate nine months later.
Andrew and Jennifer Crump have a new baby girl. They realized she was conceived the morning the fire started. That night they were forced to evacuate and that was the last time they would return home.
"It's the last thing you think is going to happen. You just lost everything and you realize you're pregnant and you're a bit startled," said Jennifer.
Their little girl is named Tegan Seraphina which her parents said mean "beautiful, burning fiery one."
