Father, Son Charged In Park Hill Deadly Shooting

DENVER (CBS4)– A father and son have been charged with a deadly shooting last month in the Park Hill neighborhood.

Daryl Thompson Sr., 42, and Daryl Thompson Jr., 19, were charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of Charles Edward Harris.

Police in Denver said Harris was shot about 9 p.m. April 24 at 38th and Grape Street after an argument.

Harris, 37, initially survived the shooting but died the next morning due to multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers caught up to the elder Thompson a few hours later. Police arrested the younger Thompson the next day. Both are being held without bond.
