AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora took two men into custody on Thursday morning after leading officers on a chase.

The police began pursuing the vehicle after the pair was caught in the act, allegedly breaking into homes along 58th Avenue.

They kicked in one door but someone was home and called police. That person also gave officers the vehicle description of the getaway car.

Police followed the car as it ran a red light and headed west on 56th Avenue.

Not long after the suspects crashed at Tower Road where they were arrested.

One suspect has serious injuries and the other suffered minor injuries.
